Stretching and Flexibility

Suitable for all levels. This class will help you improve your active and passive flexibility in different areas of the body. Stretching helps keep the muscles mobile, strong, and in good shape. Pole Strengthening

Adore the FLoor

Get down, low and enjoy rolling on the floor. Learn some floor movements and transitions to make your floorwork smooth. You may even learn a full floor work choreography.

It is simply performing pole dance movements on the floor, with or without the assistance of a pole. As a dancer, learning floor work gives you the basic foundations of pole dance, teaching you how to use each body part and muscle to execute a move without the limiting factor of balance. It is an important skill that you can use to enhance and progress a technique on and off the pole.

It is recommended that you wear socks and comfortable attire.

Pole and dance movement

This class is for those who love to dance. Find your flow with the pole with this class and express yourself through movement.

Pole & Dance Movement is a combination of lyrical, pole, and everything between! This class draws on an immense dance background to take our favorite pole moves to new heights. Typical classes involve learning a couple of new moves or new takes on old moves, then building a combination collaboratively in class. This isn’t your normal pole choreography; the focus is on dynamic and flowing moves that highlight lines, shapes, and strength. Flex your choreography muscles in a safe environment with plenty of support - this is a great class to take if you’re considering performing! Frequently Pole & Dance performs in studio showcases and other venues around Regina, but show participation is not required - just an option for those interested. No dance experience required, but a few weeks of Level 1 pole would be good so you have a foundation of skills. Choreo will be tailored to students present but tends to hover around the lower intermediate level.

Please bring your own yoga mat to class if you have one

Prerequisite for this class is Level 1 Pole Fitness or Beginner Series.

Low Pole Flow

Get low and learn basework movements in this class. We work on movements and sequences where the connection and transitions between movements are key. Using the bottom half of the pole we will discover how to tie fundamentals, transitions, and technique fluidly and seamlessly while gaining confidence within ourselves. Learn to express yourself with grace & develop beautiful lines in both your dance and pole spins! In this class you will learn, confidence to flow to music, control & fluidity, and movements to improve your overall dance expression. Plus, this class offers plenty of space for freestyle and exploration as well. This class is generally taught heels free as heels can be intimidating to some, but can be worn if the student wishes as content can be transitioned to accommodate heels.

Recommended to bring socks, legwarmers, and pants.

Kneepads highly recommended for this class.
